Noa Lang redeems salt-free Club Brugge in the cup

Potig Patro Eisden gets the best chances

Long redeemed Club

That miss by Sam Valcke in injury time (or rather: the clever save of Simon Mignolet) would break the home team sour. The first real action in the Limburg sixteen was, after 100 minutes, good for a goal. Larin kept up with the ball, played on Vanaken, who isolated Lang for the Patro goalkeeper. The Dutchman worked neatly inside: 0-1.

Not that Club dominated quietly now. Because Eisden kept insisting. It seemed as if it was not necessary for blue-black. Although the credit certainly lay with the home team that kept coming. On a sharp counter-attack, Noa Lang was able to strike again. He started in his own half and cleverly scored the 0-2 over the goalkeeper. Lang was absolutely decisive in a difficult sixteenth final for Club.
