No victims in major fire in Dordrecht porch flat | Inland

On Tuesday around 8 p.m., the fire brigade with several vehicles turned out for a large fire in the flat. The South Holland South safety region reported that it had originated on a balcony and then spread to the roof. Homes were evacuated.

More than an hour after the fire broke out, the flames appear to be under control and the fire is being extinguished. The roof is broken open to “exclude all scenarios”, according to the security region. People in the area were advised by the fire service to stay out of the smoke and anyone who experienced any nuisance was advised to close windows and doors and turn off ventilation.

Kolff speaks on Twitter of a fierce situation for the residents: “the fear will be good.” He went to the local library where residents are received on Tuesday evening to speak with them and emergency services. The Salvage Foundation has also been called upon to assist the residents and to help deal with any damage.
