No understanding for the Ibiza trip of the FC Bayern star

The Ibiza trip by Bayern Munich pros has met with little understanding from the majority of German football fans.

In a survey conducted by the FanQ voting app on behalf of the SID, 58.4 percent of those surveyed rated the behavior as unprofessional behavior and classified it as the wrong sign.

More than half of the survey participants (55.4 percent) see the short vacation as a sign of a lack of seriousness in the end of the season, for 53.9 percent the trip is also disrespectful.

After the 3-1 draw at Mainz 05 on the last Bundesliga matchday, many FC Bayern players traveled to the Spanish holiday island to celebrate the championship secured the week before. Only about a quarter of the fans (24.7) believe the statement by sports director Hasan Salihamidzic that this is a team-building measure.

The sporty appearance of the Munich team in Mainz had caused annoyance, among others, with coach Felix Magath from Hertha BSC. The Hertha coach criticized that he did not understand why the game was stopped. 49.1 percent of those questioned fully agreed with Magath’s statements, while 34.6 percent disagreed.

Despite the anger surrounding the record champions, the fans in Germany do not believe that their upcoming opponents, VfB Stuttgart, can benefit from a lack of attitude on the part of Munich. 69.2 percent of those surveyed see no chance for the Swabians to win a point.
