Train traffic between Meppel and Steenwijk is currently at a standstill. Due to a signal failure, a train came to a standstill on the bridge at the Drentsche Hoofdvaart.
Buses are used so that travelers can still get to their destination. It is expected that train traffic will resume around 1:30 PM.
