Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – That’s it with the special train: The supporters of the Bundesliga soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt have to find other ways to the Europa League final in Seville.
As the Deutsche Bahn announced, the train left due to lack of mass. It was not enough for the special train for the #Eintracht fans, the company said via the short message service Twitter. Instead, five tickets for the final against Glasgow Rangers on May 18 and Interrail passes would be raffled off in a competition.
On the day after the Frankfurters entered the final, the railway promised a special train. Condition: There should have been 753,056 likes for the idea. The number of likes probably refers to the population of the city of Frankfurt am Main. By Wednesday evening, Twitter users had “Liked” almost 156,300 times.
