Tom Dumoulin missed miracle legs in Giro time trial: ‘It’s a setback’
Tom Dumoulin failed in his mission on Saturday. The Limburger from Jumbo-Visma regarded the second stage of the Giro d’Italia, an individual time trial, as a chance for a first success in a grand tour since 2018. But the 9.2 kilometers through Budapest were too twisty, the power in the climb to the finish is just not enough. ,,I was strong, but I didn’t have miracle legs,’ said Dumoulin.
