The Hague – State Secretary Eric van der Burg (Foreign Affairs) was so preoccupied with the hidden asylum reception in recent months that the other side of the asylum crisis – the influx – was not discussed. Now that agreements on emergency shelter and relocation of recognized refugees have been made, the plan for reducing the number of refugees is yet to come. The idea: to make the Netherlands less attractive as a destination.
