The Netherlands will have no more fatal industrial accidents from 2033 if it manages to maintain its downward trend of the past decade. Over the next eight years – unnecessarily, according to the European trade union movement – there will still be 146 deaths in the workplace in the Netherlands and more than 27,000 throughout Europe, if the current trend continues.
