No Judo World Cup for Tornike Tsjakadoea after hamstring injury

Judoka Tornike Tsjakadoea (-60 kg.) sustained a hamstring injury last Friday. As a result, the judoka from Amstelveen will not participate in the Judo World Cup that starts in Qatar on Sunday.

“Really very disappointed”, says Tsjakadoea. For the judoka, his absence is extra sour because there are points to be gained at the World Cup for the qualification process towards the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.

The Amstelveen judoka expects to be out of circulation for about three to four weeks and hopes to judo at the GP of Austria at the end of May.
