The festival gig in California will be their first appearance in nine years.
No Doubt will perform at this year’s Coachella Festival. It will be the American band’s first concert in nine years. Gwen Stefani, Tom Dumont, Adrian Young and Tony Kanal last appeared on stage together in 2015. The most recent album PUSH AND SHOVE was also released a few years ago in 2012.
No Doubt instead of The Rolling Stones
A Coachella appearance by the Rolling Stones had been discussed in advance – the rock band released HACKNEY DIAMONDS at the end of 2023 after an eighteen-year album break. But the gig that many fans were hoping for didn’t come to fruition. Instead there is the reunion of No Doubt, who had their biggest hit with “Don’t Speak” in 1996. The day of the week the pop-ska group will play at the festival is not yet known. There was also a big comeback at Coachella in 2023: blink-182 performed again with original guitarist and singer Tom DeLonge.
The Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival takes place over two weekends in April in Indio in Coachella Valley, California with an identical lineup and is one of the largest music festivals in the world. Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator and Doja Cat have already been announced as headliners for this year’s edition.
