FC Bayern Munich is parting ways with its two substitute keepers, Christian Früchtl and Ron-Thorben Hoffmann. As the Bundesliga club announced on Wednesday, Hoffmann joins second division promoted Eintracht Braunschweig. After a total of eight years with the German record champions, Früchtl is moving to Austria Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga. According to dpa information, FC Bayern has had a buyback clause built into the contracts for both goalkeepers.
Hoffmann was from in the summer of 2015 RB Leipzig came to Säbener Straße, but mainly played for the second team FCB. Last season, the 23-year-old was in the English premier league on loan to Sunderland AFC.
