Many travelers are waiting for their train in the stations of Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent, among others, according to testimonials on social media. The NMBS reports that it is a priority to get people home. “If not by train, then in a different way,” says NMBS spokesman Bart Crols. “We’re not going to leave anyone behind.”
