Who was able to qualify for the semi-finals in the fifth broadcast? Who put an exclamation mark? Who grabbed the direct final ticket on the Endless Ladder to Heaven? sport.de provides the answers!

  • The showdown at the Endless Ladder to Heaven

René Casselly (01:32.17), Ole Janek (02:11.05), Simon Brunner (02:12.61) and Moritz Hans (02:31.95) made it to the endless ladder to heaven as the fastest of the day in the fifth show.

Here Janek initially took the lead with a time of 18.54 seconds. Simon Brunner countered this performance with just 14.55 seconds for the 30 rungs. Hans finished 26.57 seconds behind Brunner and Janek.

So in the end all eyes were on Casselly. The Ninja Warrior Germany from 2021 took big risks – too big a risk. It was already over for Casselly on the third rung.

“Of course I knew that the competition was tough, so I just wanted to take a risk,” the 26-year-old explained his strategy on the RTL microphone.

  • Trio cracks mega wall, actors in the course

Things went better for Casselly on the course. The former winner was one of three athletes who were able to conquer the mega wall in the fifth preliminary round. In addition to Casselly, Janek and Hans also achieved this feat.

Eric Stehfest, a well-known face from TV, also ventured onto the course. The actor, who was seen on “Good Times, Bad Times,” among others, took part in the Ninja Warrior Germany celebrity special last year.

Now it was off to the big course for Stehfest. The 34-year-old made it to the ring hunt. In the end, 28th place was not enough for the semi-finals. “Just do it. Don’t always be afraid of failing. No master or ninja has fallen from the sky yet,” Stehfest had another piece of advice for all fans on the RTL microphone.

  • The obstacles in the Ninja Warrior course

In the fifth preliminary round show of Ninja Warrior Germany, the course started with the five jump 2.0 and the roller coaster. Afterwards, the participants had to continue the ring hunt to the regular roles. Anyone who was able to master the swing arm (bungee) and the piston eaters finally had the choice between the wall and the mega wall as usual.

At the end of the preliminary round show, the four best ninjas dueled on the endless ladder to heaven for the day’s victory. There were seven finishers in the fifth show.

Simon Brunner has already secured his ticket to the final as the winner of the Endless Ladder to Heaven. In addition, René Casselly, Ole Janek, Moritz Hans, Henry Lorenz, Roy Sperlich and Bent von Freier all made it into the semi-finals as finishers.

Sandro Scheibler, Josef Albani, Tilo Plum, Andrea Meßner, Thorben Hinkel, Philipp Allgeuer and Katharina Blank were also able to qualify for the next round of Ninja Warrior Germany.
