Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

FOUR AND A HALF STARS

Four teenagers living in hiding want to go out into the world and be normal. It’s four mutant ninja turtles, you know. And then they go out to eat up the world as righters of wrongs, and then more bad bad mutants appear.

Well, The ninja turtles, but in another way: drawn with love, as if it were the imagination of children who are playing. That is why they have that “imperfect” but strongly creative air: for once, it is less important to “surprise” with technique than to look with love at how a boy thinks, plays, lives and suffers.

In this sense, he almost has a documentary trace hidden behind the incidents and his humor (close to that of Captain Underpants what, how Super coolcomes from the same minds as Las Tortugas…: those of the eternal children Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg).

Generous film with the viewer that appeals -sorry for the commonplace- to the child in all of us.
