Nine skiers swept away by an avalanche in France

Nine skiers have been wiped out by an avalanche during an off-piste outing at the Mont-Dore resort, in Puy-de-Dôme in central France. French media report this. Four people were killed, including the guide, and another was injured. Two skiers managed to escape unharmed. Two other skiers are missing. Rescue workers with dogs are looking for them.
