Nina Chuba released two new songs on Friday (December 2nd). In both songs she reports full of melancholy about her relationship. However, both songs are very different.
With “Fieber” she brings a slow jam about the negative sides of being in love. Nina Chuba lies in bed with chills and asks: “If that’s what makes love, I don’t know if I can take a lot / could it be that I have a fever?” Full of longing, it’s not possible to think.
After the “fever” she goes straight to the “black ice” and drives at 200 km/h on the autobahn because she doesn’t give a shit – “just this one last time”. In addition, she sings on a fast uptempo beat that she lacks the ray of hope and asks for one last slip on the “glacial ice”.
After the two EPs POWER (2020) and AVERAGE (2021), Nina Chuba released her first German-language song “Beside Mir” in October 2021. Since then, her musical career has skyrocketed. Especially “Wildberry Lillet”, but also other songs like “I hate you” together with Chapo102 were streamed millions of times. Most recently she was nominated for the MTV European Music Awards in the category “Best German Act” but did not win. Her debut album is scheduled for release on February 24, 2023 under the name GLAS.
A tour is also announced, which will start on April 24, 2023 in Bremen and end on May 14, 2023 in Hamburg. Tickets for the 14 concerts are available here.
