The two NBA stars Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo have led their nations to important victories in the World Cup qualification and are ready for the basketball championship.
Serbian Jokic had 24 points and ten rebounds in the 79-72 win over Turkey in Istanbul.
Jokic became the most valuable player in the North American professional league NBA last season and is considered one of the European title candidates with Serbia.
Antetokounmpo, a previous NBA award-winner, scored 26 points and seven rebounds in his Greece’s 85-68 home win over Belgium.
The pan-European EM in four countries starts on Thursday.
