Nikkie Plessen went completely out of her way at a bakery in Amsterdam because she had to pay 10 euro cents for a plastic bag, a juice spy reveals. “Do you know who I am!”
When the cameras are on it’s all cheerful laughter and fun, but what are the celebrities like when the general public isn’t watching? Then the pleasantness decreases exponentially. The juice channels have a regular section in which ordinary people share their experiences with famous people and this regularly leads to interesting insights.
‘Pay, pancake!’
This time it is Nikkie Plessen’s turn. The story that Juice Channel publishes about her is very witty, although you never know whether the anonymous juice spy in question is reliable. Blessings in an accident: the celebrity can of course easily hide behind that, and rightly so.
Anyway: what did Nikkie do following the juice spy on duty? “Years ago I worked in a bakery in Amsterdam where half of the Dutch people came. Nikkie Plessen came pretty much every week. She came again and had no bag with her. Then the rule of ‘paying for plastic bags’ had just come into effect.”
‘Do you know who I am!’
It led to resentment and misunderstanding on the part of Nikkie, according to the juice spy. “The lady had bought breakfast and lunch for a lot of money but had no bag with her, but had already paid. So I said, ‘That will be another 10 cents.’ Completely off the charts. ‘I BUY SO MUCH MONEY IN BREAD WEEKLY, DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO I AM?’”
For someone with such a huge plastic budget – 10 cents normally doesn’t even fill a single pore – that is indeed a somewhat excessive reaction. The juice spy sighs: “So much money… And then be stingy about 10 cents for a bag.”
