Nikkie Plessen returned last night after her much-discussed May holiday in Ibiza behind the desk of RTL Boulevard. There were exactly zero critical questions waiting for her.
Recently, Nikkie Plessen has been the subject of not one, but two considerable riots. Not only was she under heavy fire from protesting Douglas customers – both the perfume chain and Nikkie were even forced to come up with a statement – but she was also heavily criticized during the May holiday for the chaos in her private jet.
Does Nikkie pay?
According to the Juice Channel, it is no coincidence that RTL Boulevard really never reports about riots around Nikkie. The juice channel believes that she does not get paid to appear at the desk, but pays herself. She is the figurehead of her own clothing brand, and TV appearances are of course good for your visibility.
RTL Boulevard has never responded to that rumor, but it is striking that Nikkie is always kept above his head. For example, the show section only came up with an article about the chaos in her private jet when there was a very extensive statement from her husband Ruben Bontekoe. He used Boulevard as a kind of PR channel.

After weeks, Nikkie was back behind the Boulevard desk yesterday and exactly zero critical questions were waiting for her. And that while there may be serious consequences to the fact that she let her 7-year-old son take place behind the wheel of her private jet.
The Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate has handed over the investigation into the disorder in Nikkie’s private jet to the authorities in Sweden. “We ask them to investigate further and take action.”
“You protect her!”
Why is it so bad that Nikkie has left her 7-year-old son behind the wheel of her private jet? The aircraft can crash on land and cause countless casualties on the ground. Aviation journalist Menno Swart, who got the whole thing rolling, therefore finds it strange that RTL Boulevard initially kept quiet about the riot.
Menno in his podcast: “Boulevard didn’t do anything, of course, because Nikkie is an expert there. I did tip them. Then I texted: ‘Yes, you protect Nikkie.’ Then I got the answer: ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ Fantastic.”

Incidentally, according to Menno and his podcast colleagues, Shownieuws may be even worse. There Frits Huffnagel sat down to downplay the unsafe situation in Nikkie’s private jet. “It has to come off the tube. I don’t say fast, but it’s a headless chicken,” says Menno.
His sidekick: “What a show. It depends on ignorance.”
This morning it was announced that Nikkie with an estimated wealth of 28 million euros is in 47th place on the Quote list of young self-made millionaires. That did immediately reach the front page of RTL Boulevard.
