Nikkie de Jager, better known as makeup and YouTube star Nikkie Tutorials, married her boyfriend Dylan Drossaers on Monday. The couple has been together since 2018 and got engaged in 2019. They announced the marriage on her Instagram page.
Nikkie Tutorials is world famous for her makeup vlogs on YouTube. The Uden vlogger has also proven herself as a presenter. She was part of the team that presented the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam last year.

The Brabant couple is flooded on Instagram with congratulations for their marriage. Former candidates of Wie is de Mol such as Splinter Chabot, Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte and Marije Knevel wish Nikkie and Dylan good luck together.
Nikkie won the anniversary edition of the popular TV program Wie is de Mol in 2020. The presenter Rik van de Westelaken also congratulates the newlyweds as well as singer Davina Michelle.

Together with her husband Dylan Drossaers from Eindhoven, she has been through a lot in recent years. In January 2020, Nikkie de Jager announced in a vlog that she is transgender. She kept that hidden for years, even Dylan didn’t know it at first.
The reason the YouTube star came out with it anyway was because of blackmail. People threatened to leak her story to the press. “It was terrifying to know that there are such nasty people who don’t want to respect someone’s true self. That’s terrible,” she said in her vlog at the time.
Raid
In August of the same year, the couple fell victim to a violent robbery in Nikkie’s villa in Uden. The robbers held Nikkie and her boyfriend at gunpoint. The couple was kicked, beaten and bound with duct tape. The robbers also tried to cut jewelry from Nikkie’s wrists. The robbers made off with valuable jewelry and an expensive Louis Vuitton bag.
Two men who robbed Nikkie and Dylan in their home Uden have been given prison sentences of seven and five and a half years. A third suspect was acquitted in July this year.
In the Instagram post in which the couple announces their marriage, it is also announced that video of the wedding will be online next week.
