Nike launches second-hand platform in Europe

US sports fashion brand Nike is bringing its “Refurbished” platform to Europe, German magazine Konsider reports. Nike “Refurbished” was rolled out in the USA in 2021.

Using the “Nike Refurbished” platform, customers can return their worn Nike shoes to the company. Nike then prepares the shoes and offers them for resale in individual stores. Only shoes that show only slight signs of wear will be accepted. Shoes that appear too worn will not be accepted for sale.

According to the media company, the platform will initially be launched in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary and the Czech Republic. An expansion to other countries could follow later.
