The girls interviewed Willeke Meijer for the podcast. In 1991 she murdered her daughter’s rapist. She was imprisoned for 12 years for this. The girls found it quite exciting to interview a murderer. ,,We first got acquainted by phone and then we were allowed to come by,” says Isa. “I thought it was quite exciting,” says Annika. “Your gut feeling says ‘it is a murderer’, but she was a friendly woman. When we left I thought: she is only human.”
