Dutch singer of the band Nightwish Floor Jansen says on his Twitter account that he has breast cancer.
According to the singer, the diagnosis came two weeks ago. Jansen says that the prognosis of the disease is good, however, and the tumor will be operated on tomorrow, Thursday.
– The cancer is not aggressive, and it has not spread. I’m going to keep my chest, Jansen writes.
After the surgery, the singer also faces a three-month radiation treatment period.
The singer says that she is still optimistic about the European tour starting in November.
– After the surgery, we will see in which direction the positive prognosis develops for the time being, he writes.
