Nightlife in Drenthe is starting again after two years

“We are sold out,” says owner Jeffrey Mol of Club Limbo in Emmen. “It’s not that busy at 8 p.m., but there’s a long queue outside.”

Mol is happy that the business can finally open again, even if it is until 1 a.m. “We’ve been waiting for this for a year and 11 months. I can’t wait for everyone to come in and we can party again”

“We were sold out early this morning and the phone rang all day long. There will also be people queuing outside who we have to say no to. On social media, people show what outfit they are wearing tonight. People are happy that it’s possible again.”

It can’t be done without measures tonight. “People have to show a QR code, we have a 3G policy. And people had to buy a ticket. The latter is not mandatory, but we did.” The measures will be further relaxed next Friday is the intention. Then Club Limbo can stay open again until 5 a.m.
