Nicolette van Dam has quietly stopped her cunning trade in unhealthy sweets. A year ago she was reprimanded for this and apparently the message has been well received.
They continuously try to sell the craziest things to their supporters: Bas Smit and Nicolette van Dam. Last year they started selling “vegetable gummies” for kids; that would be very healthy snacking. What seems? Those things were full of sugar and Foodwatch gave the two a very hard slap on the fingers.
Secretly stopped
Bas and Nicolette then also got the dreaded Teun van de Keuken over them. He made mincemeat of the jolly twosome: “Just like Giel Beelen (drops) and Lieke van Lexmond (gemstones and drops), she wants to earn money with a touch of deception and a good dose of nonsense from suckers who fall for sales pitches.”
The sweat broke out on all sides with this couple, because they absolutely can’t use negative publicity. After all, their entire trade and walk is built on the laughter, screeching and roaring in their Instagramstories. What seems? They have secretly stopped selling those Let’s sweets, finds out AD Today.
Nicolette is silent
In fact, even now that the AD has discovered it, Nicolette does not want to say anything more about it. According to her spokesperson, those unhealthy sweets have not been available for a while. “Nicolette has decided to focus on other things.”
The fact that Nicolette has stopped her sweets scam proves, according to Foodwatch boss Nicole van Gemert, that making sweets look healthier does not pay off. “Van Dam said last year that they will adjust the products and their communication about this. The fact that the product has now completely disappeared indicates that changes are not possible.”
In other words, the AD concludes: “Sugar is sugar, candy is candy.”
