RB Salzburg: sports director Freund impressed by Seiwald’s performance
“The development of Nici in the last few years is really amazing. Especially in the last season, he put in incredible performances, even performing extremely consistently in the Champions League and in the national team at the highest level. Nici is a Salzburg or Kuchler boy and has gone through all the youth teams in our club since the U9,” explained Salzburg’s sports director Christoph Freund.

“Despite his young age, he’s already one of our leading players and a really good guy off the pitch with a top professional attitude. This development of a player from the region makes us as a whole club really proud and we are very happy about the early contract extension,” Freund continued.
