Nick & Simon stop because Nick Schilder (left in the photo) ‘no longer wants to be associated’ with the discredited Simon Keizer. So says juice queen Yvonne Coldeweijer.
Simon Keizer is currently under heavy fire from the juice channels, who claim he is a huge cheater. A few days after the freshest rumors about it, Privé has now revealed that Nick & Simon are likely to split up. They don’t deny that for now; on August 29 they are with Jinek and they come with a revelation.

Private boss Evert Sankrediets says that ‘some tensions’ have arisen between the two. “Not that they are now going to a performance with banging doors, but when you are 40 you think: I’m going to see what I can achieve myself,” said the magazine maker in the podcast Strictly Private.
RTL Boulevard expert Rob Goossens: “The most important reason seems to be what can happen in the best marriages, namely routine. (…) They have an appointment with our good friend Eva Jinek for August 29, to announce what they are going to do there. That plan has now been pushed a bit into the wheels by the weekly magazine Privé.”
What does Yvonne say?
Yvonne Coldeweijer states that the juice about Simon has to do with the breakup. “Simon has been a huge cheater for years,” she writes on her juice channel. “Recently, this has been discussed more and more and for some time now it has been rumored that Nick no longer wants to be associated with Simon’s bad image.”
Simon has been cheating for a long time, but it only came out this year, she adds in her podcast The Juice Show. “Simon and Jantje Smit were already continuously arguing together during the recordings of De Zomer Voorbij. Nick was good. Simon and Jan were out and about and didn’t come back for hours. They would have found two girls.”
‘He is very compelling’
According to Yvonne, Simon suffers from urges. “Simon is so incredibly active in cheating. He is even compelling. So he has an office and he has built a man cave in it. So he goes there every now and then. You can imagine that if you cheat, you are in a hurry. Then he goes to call a chick, he always does that on Snapchat.”
She continues: “Anyway, he recruits those chicks, then he has the number and then he calls. I’ve seen screenshots of him calling each other twenty times. Then that girl must answer now and come now. He is very compelling about that.”

What does Bridget Maasland, presenter of RTL Boulevard, have to say about it? She mainly has a feeling of powerlessness. Seriously: “Yeah guys, I could cry. We just saw all those songs pass by. It’s the end of an era. Why are they going solo now? Then you can still exist as a duo, right?”
Nick & Simon refuse to respond personally as they are on vacation. Weekend boss Bart Ettekoven in Shownieuws: “I think Nick is abroad in Ibiza when I saw his Instagram and I think Simon is on holiday in his own country. At least I saw him walking in Amsterdam last week.”
