Williams F1 driver Nicholas Latif will not continue in the team next season. The Canadian driver has not scored a single point this season. Mostly he has got the reputation of the worst driver in the series.
Latifi announced his Williams farewell on Twitter. The 27-year-old had time to drive three seasons in the team, scoring a total of seven points. He has suspended three times this season and five times last season.
A replacement has been appointed Nyck de Vries. He already finished ninth in the Italian GP as Alex Albon’s replacement.
Latifi is unlikely to continue in the royal class. He put effort into the formulas with the help of his billionaire father. Latifi is not one of the most sought-after names on the driver market.
There are still six races left in the F1 season. The formulas will next be seen on the first weekend of October in Singapore after a gap of three years.
