For the third time in a row, Jong AZ has taken three points. After victories over Telstar and MVV, Jong FC Utrecht was defeated tonight. Right back Lathouwers scored the only goal in the 26th minute by tapping in a cross from Milos Kerkez. For the fullback it means his first professional goal.
The most striking thing about this match were the three debutants at the Alkmaarders. Central defender Finn Stam started in the starting lineup and remained standing for ninety minutes.
