Stützle involved in two goals – and yet no winner
Tim Stützle had to deal with the Ottawa Senators despite a furious race to catch up Arizona Coyotes defeated 5:8 (0:2, 3:2, 2:4). the senators were down 4-0 in the middle of the second period and then scored five goals in a row. Stützle was directly involved in two goals, which the 20-year-old managed for the second time this season.
But the coyotes were in turn successful in the final section with four goals in a row. Arizona’s Nick Schmaltz scored two goals and five assists. For the first time in a decade, a player in the NHL scored seven points in a game.
Defeat for Greiss and Seider
Thomas Greiss and Moritz Seider also cashed in with the Detroit Red Wings one defeat: 2:6 (1:3, 0:3, 1:0) the German duo lost away to the Florida Panthers. After Greiss had conceded the fifth goal in the middle third, he made it goalie in goal space for Alex Nedeljkovic.
