NHL: Leon Draisaitl crowns Edmonton Oilers’ insane comeback

Germany’s ice hockey superstar Leon Draisaitl brought victory to the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL in a thrilling game against the New York Rangers.

The Oilers were 3-0 down at Madison Square Garden after the second period before turning the game around and Draisaitl scoring the winner to make it 4-3 with 2:02 left in the game.

The hosts took a clear lead through Alexis Lafrenière after three minutes, as well as Chris Kreider and Julien Gauthier in the second period.

But Evan Bouchard put Edmonton back within striking distance with a double in the last half before Dylan Holloway equalized.

Shortly before the end, Draisaitl struck and secured the eleventh win of the season for the Canadians in the 21st game of the NHL Western Conference.
