In the second NHL game under new coach Kris Knoblauch, the Oilers left the ice as winners – thanks to Draisaitl’s teammate Kane.
The Edmonton Oilers around ice hockey star Leon Draisaitl remain on the road to success thanks to a late comeback. After the weak start to the NHL season, the Canadians also won the second game under new head coach Kris Knoblauch, the 4:3 after overtime against the Seattle Kraken meant their third win in a row.
Kane with three important goals
Draisaitl contributed two assists, otherwise the stage belonged to Draisaitl’s teammate Evander Kane. The winger scored six and a half minutes before the end to make it 2-3 before scoring the equalizer in the last minute of regular time thanks to an assist from Draisaitl.
In the third minute of overtime, Kane even scored the winning goal. For the Oilers it was only the fifth win in the 15th game of the season. National goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer was not used for Seattle.
