It had to be a festive afternoon for Ping Pong Alkmaar on September 17th. For the first time in 35 years, an Alkmaar table tennis club played in the premier league again. It was not about preparation. The sports hall had the floor of the Olympic Games in London and volunteers had spent a week preparing the hall. Nevertheless, the day turned out to be a complete disaster for the table tennis club.
