After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ first training session in Munich, a media representative presented the seven-time Superbowl champion with a pair of leather trousers, causing laughter among the journalists present.
The red and white club emblem of the Bucs was embroidered into the Bavarian costume. “How would it look like when I wear these after the game?” Brady joked, beaming as he held his new garment in front of the cameras.
The first NFL game in Germany will be played in the Allianz Arena on Sunday (3:30 p.m.). In the next three years, Munich will share three more main round games in the world’s best football league with Frankfurt.
