Neymar’s construction project did not go well. The Brazilian football star is said to have received fines of no less than three million euros. Reported about it L’Equipe.
The 31-year-old brass striker built a luxury villa in Rio de Janeiro, more precisely in the vacation paradise of Mangaratiba.
According to the authorities, numerous errors were found in the construction project, which led to environmental violations.
The authorities stopped the construction work already at the end of June.
Among other things, Neymar was building an illegal artificial lake in the yard of his villa. Violations included, among other things, unauthorized extraction of river water, land transfer and suppression of vegetation.

The artificial lake was built by a company called Genesis Ecossistemas, which boasted that the lake is up to 1,000 square meters in size.
The fines were issued by the Mangaratiba City Council, whose decision was published on Monday. Neymar’s legal representatives have not commented on the fines or construction defects.
Neymar’s luxury villa is said to be located on a 2.5-hectare plot. In addition to the six dining rooms, the yard has, among other things, a tennis court, a gym, a spa section, an outdoor swimming pool and a helicopter landing pad.
He bought his vacation spot for around 15 million euros.
