Temperatures will rise again next week. But the heat that we had to deal with halfway through this week is not returning for the time being.
“This Sunday is a bit sunnier than Saturday,” Roosmarijn Knol of Weerplaza told the Omroep Brabant radio program Weekend on Sunday morning. “Early in the morning there were still some cloud fields over Brabant, but they gradually dissolve more and more. The rest of the day the weather remains mainly sunny. Very occasionally a single cumulus cloud can develop, but it is not in the sun or barely in the way.”
We do have to deal with a fresh northerly wind, just like Saturday. “It keeps the temperature at about 24 degrees.”
high pressure area
The weather will hardly change next week. “There is a high pressure area just northwest of our country. I think this is quite to his liking there because it will remain in place for the next few days,” Roosmarijn explained.
“This will bring us very calm weather. However, the north wind will continue for a while. But in the course of the new week the wind will blow a little more from the east and then it can become a few degrees warmer again.”
