Next VOC talent goes abroad; Isa Ternede draws in Berlin

Handball player Isa Ternede makes the switch from VOC Amsterdam to Füchse Berlin. The 22-year-old midfielder signs for one season with the club that plays in the German second Bundesliga.

Diemen-born Ternede says on the website of her new club that she is very much looking forward to the switch. “I am very excited to play abroad for the first time. Berlin is a big and beautiful city with a lot to experience. I am really looking forward to playing in the German league, meeting new opponents and many new things to learn.”

Susann Müller, Ternede’s new trainer, is also lyrical about the arrival of the youth international. “I am very pleased that we were able to bring such a talented player to Berlin and that she is now part of our team. When Isa came to us for a trial session, you immediately noticed that she fits perfectly into our game system. I’m looking forward to it looking forward to working with her.”
