The handball players of the German champions SG BBM Bietigheim suffered their second defeat in a row in the Champions League.
Coach Jakob Vestergaard’s team lost on Saturday against Györi ETO KC from Hungary with 26:34 (10:12). The Bietigheimers had previously been defeated on the international stage by 29:42 at the Danish club Odense HB.
Kaba Gassama Cissokho and Sofia Hvenfelt were the home team’s best throwers with four goals each. With five wins and two defeats, Bietigheim remains in third place in Group A.
