★★★★ The best way to define this Marvel Universe series is Ally McBeal + Hulk. If you wanted to know, that’s it: a lawyer whose accident causes part of the Hulk’s blood to give her powers. But she is a different Hulk: she can transform at will, she is strong and, by the way, she is a lawyer, she has problems with men and pressures at work. The original comic played with all these elements (even with the protagonist speaking to the camera) and that -beyond the cameos of various MCU characters- is respected, in some way it implies seeing “the other side” of those characters from a Almost ridiculous place. Okay: the same trick was used by the animated series Harvey Birdman, lawyer, which can be seen today on HBO Max. But here it is less parody than direct comedy, even with the (manual) dangers and subplots to show off the special effect. Maslany is a very good comedian and that adds up.
