Where is the camp located?
Real del Pehuenche is a dome camp in the middle of the Andes Mountains. It is located 2 km from the border with Chile, in the Pehuenche pass, 140 km from Malargüe, far from all civilization.
What are the activities carried out and what services are available?
This glamping, which was installed in Mendoza 4 years ago, is the base of operations for endless adventures in the mountains. In summer we do horseback riding, mountain biking and trekking with different itineraries of 1, 3 and 6 hours for all levels.
Crossings of between four and five days in the mountains, sleeping the first night in the camp and the rest in a tent, in itinerant camps, always with professional guides and all included.
In winter the camp is filled with snow and the activities that are carried out are cross-country skiing and splitboard, as well as trekking with snowshoes.
Being able to inhabit this magical place in a sustainable way and with all the comforts is a unique experience. There is internet connection, hot showers, constant heating in all the domes.
The camp is a sustainable project, for its manufacture no cement was used. And the idea is to preserve the magical place where we operate.
It is an ideal place for those who enjoy the mountains.
What proposals do they offer from the gastronomic?
The proposal is accommodation with full board, breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. In the case of lunch and dinner, the menu is three steps. It includes a drink and guests have a hydration table available, essential for acclimatizing at 2,400 meters above sea level.
The chef is very good and fuses regional cuisine with healthy cooking, designed around the physical activity that guests do.
