Welcome rerun of “The War of the Worlds”, the classic imagined by HG Wells which, in 1938, on the occasion of a radio broadcast carried out by the brilliant Orson Wells, acquired a mythical dimension by terrifying North American listeners.
The science fiction plot takes place in a town where an alien invasion begins a destructive raid. The events were reported as if they were news bulletins which caused the mass hysteria to believe that it was a real invasion.
Walter Jakob and Agustín Mendilaharzu, together with the musician and composer Gabriel Chwojnik, recreate the universe of Wells in the suggestive basements of the Teatro Colón Experimentation Center, until the end of the month.
