★★★1/2 Premiered at the last Bafici, this film about a fourteen-year-old girl (perfect Lara Griboff) who finds herself with the “need” to lose weight in the face of demands from her environment is more than just a film about the problems of this times. If so, it would be advertising, and it turns out that it is cinema. Because it is in charge not of presenting the problem with the accusatory finger prepared, but of understanding the complexities, pressures, moments of the protagonist at the point where the last remnants of childhood are crushed by the urgent need to “be part” in adolescence. The portrayal of that environment, then, as a container on the one hand and as strong pressure on the other -welcome friendliness- and the treatment of anorexia in a dramatic and non-advertising way make the film go to a much more universal place. In Córdoba, friends, good films are being made, more and more and better. To pay attention to them.
