★★★★ Those who follow these pages know that we have a theory: there are actors who raise the score to anything. Ewan McGregor is one of them. Here he takes up the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was played in the original Star Wars by Alec Guinness and that McGregor took over in the first trilogy which is the second trilogy of… well, you know. This is a series of adventures with all the exuberance of settings and creatures typical of Star Wars, but deep down it is, as always, a mixture of noir crime and western. The effort to innovate is noticeable: in the second episode, a laser shootout between rooftops is an example of how technology can generate emotion in the service of storytelling.
