★★★★ Science fiction is so much a part of our daily landscape that it is possible to make a series with such a premise (here two retirees who have a portal to another world in their house) without falling into the laser beams on repeat, narrating a perfectly human story. On the one hand, the irruption of the marvelous in our lives; on the other, the consequences that the extraordinary generates in us. In addition to two actors who add points to anything (Spacek and Simmons are always geniuses) and a direction that always points to emotion without falling into the easy (two episodes directed by Juan José Campanella make it very clear), the visual aspect amazes the viewer. It’s not often that you have both intriguing and lovable series on any platform (not to mention TV, desperate for a quick hit). Honey… it’s a kind of balm.
