News | mystery in sight

★★★ From the first ten minutes, in which the tone and framework of the absurd situation of the Spitz couple (Aniston and Sandler) is set, we enter directly into that world where these lousy detectives become surrounded by another implausible mystery. And we believe it, and that allows us to enjoy the generosity for humor that Aniston, Sandler and the cast have. For the rest, as usually happens in the Sandler world, the parody of commonplaces is mixed with a true police mystery, while the staging is peppered with nonsense. The basic idea: invent something and share it with a smile. An act of generosity that is appreciated when so much fiction abounds, raising our finger about the good, the bad.
