★★★ There are two interesting things in this movie that tells how a star, in a moment of crisis (she is about to get married live with another star, streaming, live, when she discovers that her future husband is cheating on her) gets married with a common type, by pure reflex. Of course there is a similar movie, Notting Hill, but let’s get to the interesting part. First, the film deals with immediacy, with the digital universe where the public is confused with the private in a vertiginous way. Taking a known scheme to update it is still a success, not because the film is extraordinary but because of the world that surrounds it. Second: Maluma may attract many people, but he is made of wood. The rest is quite conventional, Owen Wilson is nice and López knows – she is an actress before she is a singer, something no less – how things work.
