★★★1/2 This is a fairy tale with sci-fi elements: a boy must rescue his little sister from a horrible villain who lives on the Moon, accompanied by the master of dreams and a beetle. The design is very beautiful, very “European” in its complexity and color, and the film works with some sequences that have enormous creativity even if the story itself – like any fairy tale, why deny it – runs along predictable paths.
