The Gourmet premiered on Mondays, “Juliana and Maximus”, a new program by the renowned brothers and chefs Argentines Lopez Mayin which they prepare delicious recipes.
She, in the warmth of the family kitchen, developed her taste for good food, brimming with her mother’s succulent German pastries. Helping her, she discovered the delight of entertaining her loved ones with various delicacies. Later, she got professionally fired up with Francis Mallmanwhom he accompanied for almost ten years all over the world.
That experience perfected her in different techniques and approaches to gastronomy, to know hitherto unknown ingredients and to become internalized with the management and administration of various enterprises.
He, only 21 years old, was tempted to go to work in Europe. She later opened a restaurant in sydney and after that experience he landed in New Yorkby inaugurating a Argentine Bistro in Manhattan.
Now, Juliana and Máximo bring together their entire career, which includes own programs, and secrets of the procedures inherited from his family, to delight the public in twenty-two episodes. Together they prepare dishes to share, such as brandade, risotto with sauce, golden sweet potato gnocchi, buñuelos de viento, chocolate mousse cake and passion fruit and meringue truffle.
