What are the five keys that lead to success?

Based on my experience of how I became a Plastic Surgeon to an International Speaker of the most important laboratories in the World, the keys to my success were working hard with passion, instructing myself daily, having empathy with the market, understanding what it needs and above all contributing original value being and doing things differently, this was what catapulted me.

What strategies do you consider are essential to capitalize on mistakes or failures during the start-up process?

Errors are part of the path and have a relevant meaning in building success, in my case I had to combine my activity as a Plastic Surgeon with a new venture as a speaker in large laboratories, having to incorporate original communication techniques and like all innovation in a field was based on trial, error and improvement.

How should a product or service be presented to a potential financier in order to obtain economic and financial capital?

I am convinced that the proposal to raise capital must live up to the expectations of investors, focusing on the value contribution offered by our products and/or services to the specific market.

What conditions must a product or service have in order to be sold in the local market?

When we talk about a product or service, its conception must have a very deep connection with the consumer, in other words it must have been conceived from the market, for example, when laboratories request my services as a speaker, it is mainly because the communication effective that is given in my conferences based on my original methodology, but it is gestated from the audience, which is the specific market of the laboratory.

What are the steps a startup must follow to reach global markets?

I believe that there is no formula and that before seeing the global market you have to be well established in the local market, have tried the different variables and once you have overcome it, plan the move to the internationalization of your product and/or service very well, if It is much better with strategic partners. In my case, I consolidated myself as a Plastic Surgeon, I opened my own clinic, I trained, I tried different business models and after 20 years I became an international benchmark for the most prestigious laboratories in the world. My leap into the global market was definitely with strategic partners.

We are all entrepreneurs. We undertake trips with family or friends, relationships, and without realizing it we have the same processes, very good planning, for continuous execution.
