Where does the true value lie? Where does the value come from?
In the market, the supply and demand of resources to which they associate a certain value is disputed. What is valuable according to the market? – For something to be precious it has to be in demand and scarce.
There is a lot of talk about resources where a certain value can be preserved over time, such as gold, cryptocurrencies, stocks, traditional currencies, bonds, etc.
According to our definition of “crisis”, when the rules of the game change, the value of resources is relative when demand changes and, consequently, the associated value. All this dynamic shows limitation.
What happens when the growth and natural expansion to which the changes push, demands more value than that stored in existing resources?
The quality of our life is proportional to the quality of our decisions. And these improve through the processes initiated by better questions.
If resources are limited… what do we go to? – To the ingenuity!
The generation of real value depends on the development of human capacities such as creativity, courage and the determination to be more than we are in order to achieve more than we have. The construction of this attitude through the decision and exercise of strengthening these values with better habits is essential to create more and better value. Magic arises when human beings are aware of who we are and begin to test ourselves by accepting the challenge of developing greater abilities.
In recent times we have observed with perplexity the advance of artificial intelligence and the different technologies with an unprecedented speed. However, in most cases we have paused our own personal development, becoming dependent on the machines, instead of taking advantage of them to focus more on our ingenuity to create more opportunities where there are problems and leverage change to launch ourselves into the future creating it in instead of waiting in fear.
I believe that the situation that lies ahead challenges us to ask ourselves questions in order to reach superior results. Life happens for us.
Perhaps we need to wake up from lethargy, victimhood, dependency, and shake off the blockage and resignation accumulated by validating the predictors of the future. Sure, maybe they are right about the results that await us if we don’t do something different about it!
The good news is that the decision is ours.
Probably, seeing no way out there with the existing resources so far, it is time we look inward to cultivate our ingenuity and develop our enormous human potential to the next level of worth.
Of course it won’t be easy. That’s why we call it value. And that’s why it’s supposed to be expensive. But human beings appreciate what costs us the most, and therein lies the power to create value.
Technology will be able to manage more and better information and processes, but the power to create, with which we thrive, is entirely human.
